About Lower Still

Lower Still is a beat that’s been drumming in our hearts for years. It’s a whisper that God put on us since 2017 when we got hit with the Holy Spirit at a meeting in Redding, California. Lower Still is the testimony that stretches over our lifetime, and which defined for us what true kingdom greatness looks like.

 

In the quiet and rest of the Coronavirus of April 2020, God finally said it was time to give birth to the ideas about Lower Still that we had been gestating for years, and He gave us this verse as a guide post for the season: “For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.” Psalm 149:4.

 

From there we began to colour in what it looked like to live Lower Still: extreme humility. A life of mining out Kingdom Truth in a world bent on opposition to it.

 

In our home, we declare the realities of the scripture, and we post verses and words of life on every conceivable surface. We became fascinated with the idea that the walls of our home could prophesy our life. So many people have walked through the doors of our home and felt tangible peace because of the Kingdom-focused atmosphere that we cultivate every single day.
